A Decade in the making

Pinnacle Commodities (Pvt) Ltd has been in operation since 2013 and is primarily involved in the trading of tea. Having established itself as a strong contender in the local trade, the company ventured into the export market in early 2017. As we steadily expand our international clientele, we are now able to offer you – our customer – an upgraded gourmet tea experience with Tealight, our new brand of flavoured teas.

As you browse through our product range, you will find that we are able to offer our customers a broad spectrum of blends that include black tea, green tea, silver tips and flavoured teas. As such, we also avail our customers of several packaging options to choose from:

Fulfilling your needs as a customer is of paramount importance to us, as is upholding brand image. For this reason, we ensure that the product we offer to you is of optimal quality. Our product range comprises hand-picked teas which are mostly purchased from the Colombo tea auctions. We also buy fresh teas directly from local estates, depending on client requirement. With over a decade of combined experience in tea tasting and trading, we strive to uphold a consistently high standard of quality across our products.

The Pinnacle Standard

Blending and packaging of our teas are carried out under strict hygienic conditions, in adherence with HACCP and ISO standards. The premium quality flavouring ingredients used in our flavoured blends are all sourced from Germany. In addition, Pinnacle also strongly believes in supporting and preserving the sustainability of our natural resources and well-being of estate communities. We therefore purchase teas for our Tealight range of blends from Rainforest Alliance CertifiedTM estates. Our Tealight tea blend packages bear the Rainforest Alliance CertifiedTM seal as a symbol of this pledge.

Bulk Packaging

Smaller quantities of loose-leaf tea can be provided in aluminium foils, while larger quantities (5kg or more) can be provided in 5-ply paper packs.

Tealight

Enveloped gourmet pyramid tea bags – Pinnacle’s own brand of value added blends.

customized packaging

Value added customisations such as pyramid or flat tea bags, tin or wooden caddies, customised labelling, seasonal designs; as provided by client.
